Yes! The SilentBite™- Anti-Snore Mouthpiece is made from soft, medical grade material, designed for a secure and comfortable fit all night long.
The mouthpiece is designed to be moulded to your jaw shape and teeth, allowing for maximum comfort.
How do I mould my SilentBite™- Anti-Snore Mouthpiece?
1. Boil water in a kettle or pot (or microwave), then pour water into heat safe bowl.
2. Using your utensil or tongs, fully submerge device into a bowl of hot water.
3. Carefully remove your device from the bowl of hot water using your utensil or tongs and place in the bowl of cold water for 3s.
4. Place the device in your mouth with the UPPER portion of the device on your upper teeth.
5. Firmly bite down on the device—for at least 20s, pressing your fingers around your mouth area, and sucking the air out with your tongue on the roof of your mouth creating a vacuum in your mouth. This will secure a tight mold to your teeth.
6. After 20s, remove the device from your mouth and inspect for a proper mold. If the mold does not look tight enough with visible teeth marks, you can repeat step 2 through step 5.
7. If you are happy with your custom mold, fully submerge your device in a bowl of cold water for 15 seconds to allow for your custom mold mouthpiece to set correctly.
How do I clean my SilentBite™- Anti-Snore Mouthpiece?
Rinse the mouthguard with lukewarm water after each use and clean it with a soft toothbrush and mild soap or a special cleaning tablet to remove bacteria.
Where do I store my SilentBite™- Anti-Snore Mouthpiece?
Choose a clean, dry location to store your mouthpiece. Avoid areas where it could come into contact with dirt, dust, or other contaminants. A storage case specifically designed for this mouthpiece is included and it can help protect it from dust and debris. Store the mouthpiece away from direct sunlight and sources of heat, as excessive heat can damage the material of the mouthpiece and affect its effectiveness.
Can I use the mouthguard if I have braces or crowns?
If you have braces, crowns, or implants, we recommend consulting your dentist first to determine if the mouthguard is suitable for you.
